I've searched for this but haven't found the post, so I'll ask the All-Knowing Ranger Forum:

Is it true that there is a Kashyyyk NPC reward of a Wookie's Head on a stake?

If so, where would one find this NPC?

It is indeed a reality! I don't remember who the NPC that gives it is, but I just bought one (750k on my server).

I want to say it is called a Trandoshan Hunting Staff (and is a real weapon, not just a decoration). It actually has skulls impaled on both ends. Acquiring it made me the happiest leezard in the game. The only way I could be happier, is if one of the heads was Kago's

So is it a Wookies head (fur and all) or is it just the skull, ala Predator?

Skulls with some sort of markings (actually, similar to Zabrak tatoos...

). I think furry impaled heads might have affected the game's ratings.

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.

Now all you need is a trandosian Hunting rifle and a "Dosh Special" DL-44 pistol calc

those Dosh Special DL44's are pretty nice pistols. not as good as the Trandoshan Supressor Pistol, but still good none the less.

This is all making me so confused about my toon!! I really like all these anti-wookiee things from kashyyyk, but theres just tsomething about a wookiee having a rifle used to kill his brother and a staff with his parent's skulls on it that seems a bit freaky

Well, I found it!

You get the quest from the Trandoshan camp. The NPC to speak to is on the guard tower at the front of the camp.

He tells you to go resuce some slavers and gives you a waypoint (I think...don't really remember that part). When you get there you have to fight off three waves of Wookie freedom fighters (wasn't that easy to do solo) and your reward is the lance. I have it on my wall ( http://swg.allakhazam.com/db/abilities.html?swgability=3461). I was still hoping for the Wookie head on a lance, not just the skull, but it fits in with the hunter's decor I have at my house.
