Trying to find one of my relatively rare posts from yesterday (Sept 6)...it doesn't show as a 'subscription' in my list (of one, but now zero) threads.

It had to do with making a 'Ranger' character that was a more ranger-like than Ranger out of Rifleman, Squad Leader and some additional boxes put into Medic and Scout and I see that at least one other thread (something where a Dev reply existed ..briefly) got deleted as well.

Are the forums getting cleaned up, is there a tech issue with the forums, or was the thread deleted or moved for another reason?

They seem to enjoy deleting our threads.

yes I agree... you should see the flaming and spamming that goes on in the jedi and bh forums... yet they dont get deleted or locked...

personally I think its complete bs.

I was thinking that as well. It does seem like we get a lot of (relatively) innocuous threads locked or deleted. After thinking about it a bit more, though, I'm not so sure. I mean, these are the only ones that I notice being moderated, because these are the only ones that I frequent. If I could stomach spending more than a few minutes at a time on the BH or jedi forums, maybe I'd see that we're not being singled out.

Honestly, though, it's nota hugeconcern for meeither way. Garva may seem like a punk at times, but I don't think he really is. Hell, if I had his job, I'd be pretty frickin' merciless. He has a way higher tolerance for stupidity on the forums than I do.

Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be more moderator activity in this forum the past few days.

The mods don't gernerally pick on any forum in general. Usually when they are around its because people in the forum began complaining through the Report feature. If your post was locked or deleted it most likely started with a fellow forum member reporting it. There are just to many forums and posts for the mods to be sifting through.
