Thread: Harvesting droids and already a proposed change to them.

The newest addition to the family the harvesting droid has created some stir over if it can actually harvest more then us. ( well based off our skills) This post is not about that but what elseI think it could do for us. Namely, I propose two addtional options for the droids./harvest Eggs and harvest milk. With this alot more eggs and milk will be on the market. I know that I for one would like to be able to use the droid to harvest milk instead of the downtime of following the animal and then the occasional runner of the animal pack makes me chase to one end of theworld to the next.

Oh and I bet if we asked BE they would like this idea to! just like the Million monkey's proposal.

I harvest a lot of eggs, fish, and milk, and the first change I'd like to see with regards to Rangers is that they actually start giving rangers a bonus to harvesting these. That's step 1. As far as the doid is concerned, it would be useful to me in collecting milk, but certainly not eggs. I harvest probably 75% of my eggs from my speeder, so having a droid that does it would be very nearly worthless to me.

If a droid can't fight, it takes up space.
Harvesting droids are less than useless, as you must pay for their upkeep and they do nothing I can't do. At least a combat droid tanks, the harcestors run off squealing like little sissies.
Yeah yeah, lazy riflepeople love em. Cool, use them. By the time you have done one lair, I am on my third - factual statement, we tested this out. Pistoleers are faster, and with a droid helping tank and fight, faster still.
Harvestor and trap droids are really nice - to make DEs money. I will buy and use droids, that can fight.
