I have dabbled in Ranger a few times since I first began last July and never mastered it. I figured it was about time to try to master it. Since I am Master Rifle I can take pretty much anything down with enough patience. I figured now would be a good time to be a Ranger because I have enough fire power behind myself. I wanted to know what stats would be good for soloing so I do not have to buff everytime I go out. Right now I have it at:
625/500/500 - Health
625/500/500 - Action
1100/525/525 - Mind
Should I put more in my mind secondaries? Thanks for the help.

I personally would boost your mind secondaries as high as you can. Then... pick up a case or to of Vasarian Brandy while you hunt. That's what I've done and I can't remember getting into to many problems that way.

Master Ranger/ Master Rilfeman was my first profession.
My mind stats where/are 900/600/700.
This is sort of a custom tweaking, but you can see the emphasis I put on my mind.
My remainin skill points went into medic to make up for the lack of HAM.
Camo, cover, and coneal shot lets you get in, kill, and get out of just about anywhere.
Plus, the extra terrain neg. goes to your crawl speed (anything past +50), which helps when you prone from taking cover.

Something else that would also help with the mind is a food called Arisha. The BE enhanced stuff will boost your focus by over 300 for 35-40 minutes with a 33% filling. Taking a dose or two of this will really cut down on the mind cost.
