I'm the same way... the only way I get around a city is by either using /find for terminals, or /areatrack to find npcs (trainers, etc) and then use a speeder to cruise around the perimeter of towns until I get close...

Meanwhile I know almost every inch of northwestern rori like the back of my hand

City? What is this "city" you speak of. The only things I ever see are cesspools of spammers and uber leet doodz that are to be avoided at all costs. Consider getting lost as a gentle reminder from the Ranger Gods to repent you sins and leave before you are striken blind.

By the way, does anybody knows why doc spammers don't buff inside the medical centre? ...maybe a bonus buffing there would be nice to become free of them.

My server is a low population one, but if I logged-off in Corellia, I takes5-10 times log-in attemps to enter the game

I let anger show the Dark side ...I frogot to answer you

I've been playing for 4-5 months and the only cities that I can walk without the Overhead Map are the Bestine and some minor cities of Tatooine. Nevertheless, I can travel all Tatooine without using a mere Way Point.

ya, I wondered why Docs buff out there, but then I saw how big a "buff line" can get one day and never again wondered.

btw, there are planets I no longer need the overhead. Corellia is one. Rori and Talus are getting that way. for a while I clould peek at the map (cntrl-v), set the right direction and the scenery would clue me in on where to go on Dath.

IRL I can usually go anywhere, as long as I have a map. I hate driving in Chicago, however... those people are crazy.

Must be why I chose this prof

They buffs outside for two reasons:

1) People have to pass the starport.

2) Droids give a higher bonus than med centers to healing and buffs. If you are in the med center, it overrides the droid's bonus.

Worst place for me? Player city shuttleports. I land and run in circles trying to get off the platform. Even had a fellow Ranger come and lead me out after he stopped laughing.

Aw man, Kor Vella is the best I started there. I don't need a map on that one at all. Even has a nice, wide road going up to one side of the mesa

heheehe, right there with ya pall. Look in ranger for the "getting lost" post. Most planets I know exactly where I am and where stuff is, in the wilderness. Cities? Bah, who needs em?
