You'd probably be better served by tracking your targets to sample. Traps at their current state are not as useful as you'd hope they'd be.

Mt character is MBE/MCH (was MBE/TKM but Ive moved on a bit).

I have enough skill point to get 3 boxes in 1 line of ranger.

Ive narrowed it down to either Tracking (to help with finding animals) or Trapping.

I will be a Cl61, with no offensive abailtiies apart from my pets, so the trapping line is very tempting as it supposedly gived me the ability to root/snare/apply states etc to help my pet out BUT would Trapping 3 be worth it?

At my current level (Master scout trapping) Im Ok trapping most things a lot weaker than me, but the things i really need to trap (ie those at or above my level) so arent being affected. Is this my lack of trapping ability? or is the CL differential making all the difference?

anyone out there care to give me a view?
