My wife came across something odd the other night. Every time she tried to harvest she received a message along the lines of "This creature has no intact harvestable resources." I saw Owen had a post on TC from the middle of April but found nohing else on this. Looks like it made it to live. A bug? A nerf?
On a related note, another known bug still hasn't been fixed --- the Hostile Thune Mothers that allegedly have wooly hide don't allow you to actually harvest hide. Not sure if you can harvest anything else.

I got the same message trying to harvest Grauls. I thought it was maybe because I was using a droid but I put him away and it said the same thing. I just left the lair.

It's not a bug, per say, just means that the resource was in the process of shifting at the time.
Sometimes, however, because of lag, latency or the wrong socks, you might find a radial command works and a command line one doesn't or vice versa.
It was on Live way before CU.
My favourite is "You cannot harvest resources in your current state". Ohyeah? What states that? I'm not in combat, don't have a stun/dizzy/blind on, am not moving and am stood damned mearly inside the carcase... You mean the state of being peeved as heck at dumb sysmsgs that dont' tell you anything useful?
/grin

Best way around that is to type /stop. That stops wheterv process the server considers you in at the time which is usually "running". Same thing happenes on forage sometimes, when you get the "you can not forage while running," error.

I would, but I'd +MISS+, and you probably heal faster then the damage my CDEF Pistol of Confusing (Exceptional) does, then use Area Attack with Natural Weapon for $foo of $foo points.

If the radial command works, but not your macro, look around and make sure you're not standing near a house called "hide out" or "meat shack" or "bone yard" or something like that. If you are the system will interpret hide or bone or meat to mean the house, not the resource, and you'll find yourself trying to harvest the house over and over again!
