Has anyone else had a problem with traps on high end critters over the weekend?

On Friday, as a Novice ranger I was able to land traps a good percentage of the time asI levelled up some more combat exp. by Saturday afternoon, once I was fighting combat level 65+ critters I could no longer get any kind of trap at all to stick.

I was using phec-darts and adhesive mesh. The adhesive mesh didn't seem to do much even when it was sticking. The phec darts worked just fine though, until I hit cl65 or so. Then they just stopped working althogether. I haven't been able to land any kind of trap on any critter (only been hunting cl65+ lately) since saturday.

I know the traps didn't change - I'm pulling them from the same pre-cu crate and my trapping skill level didn't change, it was novice ranger the whole time.
