I've just found that command in the Commands list. has it been there before CU??

Don't see it in allakhazam's list of commands that predates CU (think it was last added to around JtL time)

There's a /throwtrap command too, but I'm pretty sure that's been in there a while. The problem is there's no command line option to select which trap. That would make me a lot happier to be carrying adhesive mesh traps.

I'm not sure about this, since I'm from Austria and my native language is german, but does deploy not mean to lay a trap (not to throw it), could this be one of the features we always wanted to get ?? I heard some rumors about a Ranger revamp, could this be a first sign ?

I'm pretty sure that command has been there for a *long* time. I wasn't around then, but wasn't there a time when Rangers were supposed to be getting deployable traps, rather than just thrown ones?
