been reading a few posts, im 4044 Scout, and master swords.... i cannot trap ANYTHING right now, what i CAN trap i get 1 xp off, lvl 15 kaadus lol
i cant even trap a lvl 39 bol, im curious as to whether anyone knows a way of making any xp at all?

There have been lots of posts about this - which I recommend you search for...
But the gist of it is; You trapping ability is not linked to you CL and therefore if you're a Level 60 CL with only novice scout, you'll NEVER be able to trap anything that will give you xp. It's a major issue that is being worked on dilligently by both the scout and ranger corrs.
As some possible solutions/work-arounds:
1) Get some Dweezle - chef made and increases your trapping skill
2) Look for trapping SEAs - These are new to the game and haven't been tested yet, but worth looking for
3) Respec - if this option is still available to you, respec into trapping and go from there
4) Drop you CL - as a last resort, drop some skills until you can succesfully trap critters that are about the same CL as you and therefore give you XP. Note: drop only as far as you need to to successfuly trap creature while using dweezle.
Other than that, ya, it sucks! Good luck to ya though.

If you want to get XP then don't worry about getting it for your primary profession, just go out and trap the creatures you are able to. It shouldn't take you that long before you can trap at your level of CL.

That's the problem though. With the way things are working right now, if you've got a moderate to high CL, you won't be able to succesfully trap anything that gives you more than 1 xp. So the challenge becomes to then find a way to trap things that are of a similar challenge level and you can work both sides of the equation:
1) Increase your trapping skill (dweezle/SEAs/respec)
2) Lower YOUR CL (drop skills)

my respec ended yesterday. which is typical...
i dont want to drop any swordsman, but it may be the only way i can level

It is, but I wouldn't expect a fix tomorrow.
