Thread: Fan fest is coming, let's make use of it
Sadly, I can't make it. My parents already think I'm addicted
.
However, this is one question that I would like answered:
With the implementation of camo kits being usable by all players now, and the alteration of npc / creature AI, are the Camoflauge and Scent-masking skills of Ranger and Scout professions, respectively, going to be altered to conform with their current uselessness for characters of a high combat level in comparison the the enemies they usually face?
I went to FF last year, but my wife got off work late and we just missed the scout/ranger/ch forum.
The 4pm saturday time is a little worrying though. Last year it was 2pm on a Friday.. I remember that a couple of panels got dropped Saturday afternoon because it was close to the dinner and other panels had run long. Hopefully that won't happen to ours this year.
It will definitely be interesting to hear what's discussed in the panel this year.

I so wish I could go. I'd probably ask an open-ended question, such as "what is the number one skill YOU would like to see implemented for Rangers in the revamp?" I'd love to hear a developer talk as excitedly about the Ranger profession as we do.
This isfrom the previous 19 questions posts that Thunderheart used to do. They would group professions into 2 separate weeks, and each week would answer a question that came from each profession's correspondent. Red and boldedis TH's responses to the question.

Do the developers consider any part of the "Outdoorsman" proposal viable? If so, which parts might possibly be implemented in the future?
Absolutely. I am a fan of the "Outdoorsman" proposal presented by the Ranger community and whenever an opportunity comes up, I have pushed it as an issue and will continue to do so.

I remember the questions.... are you saying you think this means the Outdoorsman is the number one thing they want to see implemented? I think that is a bit of a stretch. /grin Besides, the Outdoorsman would qualify as a hella lot of things, not just one.
Just sayin', maybe we should push it as an issue? And continue to do so?
