Thread: New to ranger need little info

First let me start of by saying "about darn time" and "im glad to be a ranger"
I had a second toon unlocked about 3 months ago and i hardly ever worked on it. but now that my jedi is a full template i am currently working becoming a MRifles/MRanger.
Ihave read the first page on this board to see if there was anything that could help me out and there was but it also opened up a new line questions.
1) what is this talk about GRM and RIN
2) what do P-darts do?
3) snice i am starting from scratch i didnt respec into ranger. I have grinded up to 4104rifleman/1112ranger and now am wonderingwhat lines in ranger should i go up first?
4) as a Mrifles and Mranger what other combat skills should i pick up? pistoleer? carbines? or do i even have enough points to pick up another combat profesion?

1) what is this talk about GRM and RIN GRM= Great Ranger Meet. A bunch of us meet up on a server to play together. Usually it's Wanderhome or TC. RIN= Ranger Info Network most servers have a chat channel set up with the RIN tag. Whether or not someone is on is another question.
2) what do P-darts do? They are traps that you get in the 3rd trapping box in scout. one of these coupled with kneecap shot from rifleman can nearly stop a critter in its tracks.

Tracking coupled with trapping. It is very important you level trapping consistently while leveling your character up. If you get too high a combat level but you haven't worked on trapping you get crap xp. It'll take forever.
4) as a Mrifles and Mranger what other combat skills should i pick up? pistoleer? carbines? or do i even have enough points to pick up another combat profesion? At master rifleman master ranger you will have 4 sp left. best bet is to sink them into the survival line in FS

thank you very much. and im glad you told me about the traping with leveling or else i would of been stuck between a rock and a hard place
