Thread: Applying Camo Kits

Hi All...I would liketo know how to apply a camo kit one to some body else.
I can apply to my self and they work fine. But I cannot apply to another person...I have tried having the other person selected and then chose apply from radial menu...this just takes mine off.
I have tried dragging it straight on to some one, this has the effect of opening a trade window???
Is applying to another player broke...or am I doing something wrong.

OK, a guildie and I were running some missions in the Rryatt Trail and I camoed both of us... yes, I camoed him too!
Iselected him as a target and with a Kashyyyk Camo kit in my inventory, I hit Shift-F3 (which is where I have /conceal hotkeyed)
Not one problem applying the camo.
Now if only the camo would be usefull on the lowest 2 trails.... EVERYTHING saw throught the camo and aggored us.

If you are a ranger with at least the first box in concealment you can cammo other players as you recieve the /conceal skill at that point.
Conceal other players , assuming you have the planet specific kit, by targetting them and typing /conceal or /conceal [playername].
If you do not have the /conceal skill you can only apply the cammo to yourself.
If you drag any item onto another player it will try to invoke a trade window.
If you are a ranger with the /conceal skill and it is not working on other players, please, /bug it and add it to the issues thread in the In_Live forum.

Thanks guys for quick responce, I am master ranger (aquired just befor pub 17)
I will try again, next time I am logged on, and hopefully it will work, but if not I will /bug.

You also need to be aware of your faction combat status. Camo works the same way as healing.
So someone who is on-leave cannot camo a combatant or special forces. A combatant can't camo a special forces.

Ah...thanks for that bit of info Karvarn, I'll bet thats what the problem was
