I don't know if you are all aware of this, but 2 new badges have been added to the game that look great on you Ranger Resume (and I may have the names slightly off)

1) "Krayt Hunter" - You have to Kill and Ancient Krayt Dragon
2) "Foe of the Gorax" - Kill a Gorax!

If you know of any other badges that are like these, please post 'em here!

btw, they count as content badges too! (i.e. they are an alternative to get glowy)

Aw, I really didnt want to get that Imperial Hero Badge to get glowy I should have waited, bah!

No kidding - wow. That seems almost too easy. You could take up novice rifleman, get one shot in, let your friends to the rest and bam! you're glowy. I guess that's good for crafters.

Time for some stupid question action! I've been a ranger for a quite a while, but the only one in my guild. Just started hitting the forums to make sure I wasn't the only one out there.

Are these badges quest oriented or do i just need to go kill me some critters?

Yeah, it's great news. Since the corvette is now broken (CL 194 SBDs, lol) it's the only way for neutrals to become FS. I was a bit shocked to say the least when I checked my force status after getting that badge last night.

Someone actually made a thread on this the other day. It looks like there are a load of new badges like this:

You need to go out and kill ONE critter. Of course they are the biggest individualcritters in the game. You can also get one for the Ackley and Axkva Min. Kimo's and Peko's aren't badge worthy.

Actually, if you are just going for badges, it is pretty easy to get a corvette badge now. My guild has started taking our newer members on tours of the corvette. The key ingredient to a successful mission, though, is having an Master Defender jedi with you. To go into those areas with SBDs and get codes when no one else can. The NPCs are a breeze now.

Still, I would rather that they "balance" the corvette.
