I'd rather be rare and damn good at what I do than another run of the mill respec BH.

I actually like the rareness of rangers, that is one of the things that made me become one. I almost never like to play as a common class, just to stay unique. However, I do have to say that threads like that one can be a little disheartening. Either way, I'm having a great time being a ranger so far and it seems that the ranger community will really contribute to my experiences.

oh don't get me wrong. i love the rareness...i just wish it were like the rareness of an endangered animal..prized, exotic, take pictures if you're lucky enough to see one so you have a story to tell the grandkids when you're old. not the rareness of "wait...they exist?"

Rangers are becoming a very common sight on Eclipse and I seem to run into a new one every week now. There appears to be even more people trying to become Rangers too. Only yesterday a Jedi ran up to me and asked me how I'd managed to level trapping since he was training his alt to be a Ranger. He'd only got it up to 4/4/4/0 so I told him he'd best wait for the fix in Publish 20. However, I'm sure a certain other fix in that publish may cause many of them to flee from the profession...
