Do rangers still make decent credits by farming herbivore meat for Bio-engineers? If not..what is useful about being a ranger now-a-days?

no your in the right forum...its just a little slow at the moment.


I dont have much information about anything Pre-CU but there are some BE that still pay for the harvests.


Yet most BE tissues that go into clothing and such dont work becuase it is bugged. If you have anything Pre-CU in your invetory....treasure it...

You have to give it time. Not everyone checks the forum all the time and it's only been a couple of hours on your post.

As for credits, that depends on your server. Check your galaxies trade forum and see what sorts of contracts are around. Just realize that harvest rates have gone up (mostly because CL levels have gone up and also because of the group harvest bonuses) so the cpu price is likely to be lower than you expect (but 100k stacks of almost anything that shows up on a mission terminal are not too hard to get now).

But, overall, Ranger isn't very useful to a post CU template yet. They are meant to be upgrading the profession over the next few publishes, though (we hope).
