Ok, I'm at wayfaring 3, soon 4. Can I get a master ranger to craft a dathomir camo kit for me and use it myself? Or do I have to have the schematic for it in order touse it? Thanks in advance.

From what I have heard from the other Rangers...

You can use Camo Kits created by other people even if you can not create them yourself.

The only caveat is that you must know the /conceal command, available in Wayfaring I...

But you seem to be set in that regards.

You can use them? cool. I thought perhaps sense you can't use a camp that you can't make that this would also follow.

I actually gave a non-Ranger a Ranger camp and he was able to use it. This was a few days ago. I was surprised that he could use it, but he had had Ranger at one time, dropped it, and wanted to know if he could still use Ranger tents.

This may explain why I was able to keep my pets when I dropped CH a while back (I got it back thos).

What level of non-Ranger? And what type of camp?

A Master Scout can use the High Quality Camp kit with no problem.

Yes, it was the High Quality Camp kit, which is the lowest Ranger camp, correct? I don't know if he was still Master Scout or not, but from what you are saying, he probably was.

Generally speaking:

A player can use any camp or trap in the skill level immediately above their current level.

They just can not make the camp or trap themselves.

The caveat is that you must have at least Novice Scout...

Mundanes can not use the Basic Camp kit for instance.

I have a question too. Does anyone charge a fee to apply camo to non-friends or non-guild mates? If so what is reasonable? Thanks!

that would depend on the server and the player. I usually do it for free depending on my mood.

As for a reasonable rate...it would depend on which camo the person is asking for.

for Kashyyk(sp) camo...this would be more expensive because it is not in the ranger tree and we have to quest for it, also the resources it requires is high.

I am unable to give a price because I have yet to get the schematic for it.

1. Can anyone use them?

2. How do I apply camo to others? I target them and then click on the camo kit, and it just applies it to myself. Or I drag it onto them, and it sends a trade request. How do I apply it to others?
