First of all, you do not need two threads for one question. Second, you waited 18 mintues. Third, use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation please. And fourth, that kind of attitude isn't very welcome here. We aren't here to simply feed you information, especially when you demand it so quickly. That being said, rifleman. The traps take care of keepingthe animal away from you and rifles do great damage.

BH is the least amount of SP for a Master Combat Prof.

Lack of specials hurts tho. And with the traps being fixed you are sorta hosed there. But it's fun.

Well, advice I give most folk is "use the combat prof you most enjoy playing!!"

If you really like melee and we tell you "Oh rifleman is the uber for rangerliness" then you're going to be an unhappy rifleman.

If you're a ranged combat hand, then telling you that polearms rock isn't going to help if you hate the long grind, bashing critters on the knees with an old curtain pole.

BH is a good prof to go along with Ranger, it leaves you some extra SP to do [waves vaguely] something with, but if you don't like the idea of being a BH then it's not 'right' for you either.

MID for the win

Barring that, Rifleman works fairly well, though as a Ranger, you can pretty much be gimped (edit: or shine) no matter what profession you pick, so don't limit yourself.

Edited for overt pessimism

I like carbs, they do farly well up close and at distance. Then thers always the big four, Food, Drinks, spice, and BE clothing. Improvise, adapt, and overcome.

I like BH because the the mods arn't weapon specific. if your rifle is too inaccuate at close range you can always change over to a pistol or carbine.

also the defence mods arn't all that bad either. my chest plate may be broken but i was able to tank a blackscale guard.
