It's all there in the subject, finally finished ranger /cheer and it sure would be fun/nice if I could do a little support in pvp by chucking traps and such.
Any particular reason why this hasn't been implemented?

Plus most people are smart enough to avoid getting caught in a trap

Well, it used to be a balance thing, where we are creaturehunters, bounty hunters are manhunters, and giving us an edge over them wouldn't be fair at all.
So they took all our handy trap attacks, and stuck them into pistols and carbine, so bounty hunters can outkill rangers against everything.
All part of the balance thing
*cries*
Still, we aremasters of binoculars; being able toassess distance ANDdifferentiate kimogilas from bothans, and can harvest meat like nobodys business so we are obviously still clearly the unchallenged hunters.
Should give us an actual binocular, that if anyone unrangerly tried to use would blow off their heads or something.
I might be bitter.

No reason imo, we can track, we should be able to trap. Not scouts, and no flame to scout, but it should be an advanced skill.

Rangers aren't allowed to have a role in the GCW. If you're Ranger/Rifleman and you're using your rifle skills in GCW Combat, it's technically called griefing because Rangers are so overpowered in that context, that's why you see so many more of them than Jedi and Smugglers.

I think we should be able to.
I'd post more, but it'd just degenerate into ranting and complaining....

Before the cu it was said it would be to overpowered. Now they have given all the 'states' our traps doto themarksman professions...so it would 'not' be over powered, just equal.
We hope they realise this and 'fix' it soon.
