Thread: Crappy Camps
I was just wondering why our camps are considered abandoned so fast. I think if you put up a camp, you should be able to go hunt and return to your camp. When I hunt for real my freakin camp dosn't disappear the moment I leave. Just make it so you can't make a new camp until the old one is disassembled. That way there won't be abandoned camps all over the place. This would add a high degree of "RP" realism. You couldset up a camp for your group, away from all the smoke belching factories, and lead hunting parties. This would work good with a "tracking" function. You could even advertise for city slickers. Take them on big game hunts and rescue them when the Durnies go crazy. No seriously, this really is a sticking point for me. What do you all think about this.

Yeah I totally agree with the fact that we should be suited with the proper abilites that would allow us to take the city slickers on hunting trips. I know there are several idea of what a ranger should be but I believe this one is defineatly a common conception. I too toyed with the idea of setting up an outdoor store but the truth is it would pretty much make zero money right now. All other rangers make their own stuff and anyone else just doesn't care.
Oh you know what I saw tonight that made me kinda sad, a factory crate of field bases...something about that just seemed so un-rangerly to me.
