Thread: I will give you all the secret to making Master ranger...........
***Warning*** This is not really a spoiler but it does give some tricks to the trade. Even in PvP
Ok this is going on Week 4 of me being a Master ranger and there is still not another on my server Bloodfin (hurry up Ndesk). 40 tells an hour saying "holy **edit** what camp is this?" tends to wear you down after a while. So I will give some tricks to the trade.
Itsobvious that the skill holding everyone back is the camping skill, So I will focus on that mainly. What is the secret? 2 words................. TUSKEN FORT. That place is basically called "L" central. Because people Lose so much there. Hopefully you made Ranger by this time and your camp is big enough to keep other from wanting to go to other camps near by. There is a little math Ratio I have been working on that increases your chances of making max exps.
1 person undamaged= 22-28 minutes for max exps.
2 people undamaged= 12 - 15 minutes for max
3 people undamaged = 9-11 minutes for max
The ratio lowers a few minutes each person.
Now here is the cool thing. Lets say you were in your camp alone for about 8 to 11 minutes, and all a sudden you are hit with a group of 10 people that are massing up for the fort raid. KEEP your camp up for about 1 min then immediately disband and make another. This will give you 2200 exps in about 5 mins.
Also the more people are hurt in your camp, that increases that rate of exps gained so you can disband and create another as soon as possible. (have the camps hot keyed)
4th (I didnt do this but I wish i did) Pick up a entertainer skill and use it. That will keep people in your camp. Music soothes the soul.
Once you get to your second Ranger camp, you will not be able to keep the people away, it has a crafting station and it can been seen from a far sort of like a marker.
Now there are other places out there you can set up camp like this. Make like and Oasis or outpost witch I call my High tech camps. (Lok, Endor, and Talus)
**** Here is another trick for all you overt people out there*****
I love this if you make master Ranger put up a Hight tech camp, and then find animal near it. Root it, then hit it with tons of traps. then go under cover right there where all the traps are. (if you are a rifleman like me) This will camo you from the radar. LOL Then just wait for some lonely impire person to come thru and conceal shot.
If you read any of my last post. I had to do that when that guy got into me with his axe after healing into my camp. Revenge is sweet.
Ok for Trapping Kimos. They give 2000 a hit with traps............ if you are not high enough to get them. go after Bola boloas.
and for the Rest just skin skin skin skin
There you have it the Michealton Stormdoor guide. Hope I didn't spoil some people's fun, but camping for me was never boring.

I know this, andmany of us do actually. Get a group of 5 together AND beat up on big creatures and let everyone get pounded to *heck*. You can max the camp in the 10 minutes it takes for the doc to heal wounds AND you get extra exp in addition to the max on the wounds healed. Camp exp zoooooms. ONE PROBLEM THERE... the other 5 also tend to be scouts. Also, I have to BRIBE people to stay put for more then 5 minutes and after 5 I hear things like "c'mon, lets go already". Do you know a dedicated set of 5 people that will be around all the time and let ME drop the camp instead of there espiring BH buddy?

little disapointed that the final camp is buged sort of makes em a waste of time throwing one togeather

yeah the Last camp is a big let down for me ...... considering what you go thru to get it.
lol i got sick of the tells after making novice so i made my char not serchable
i dont mind training someone that is beside me but i realy dont like waiting for some one to travel from another city to get some free training
i payed for all my training as finding another ranger is well a waste of time
Actually you are not the only Master Ranger on Bloodfin, i know of 4 people, and one of them made it way before you

No way .............there was no one close When i got my last camping exps. Trust me I checked. I had to pay for all my training...............

And i trained you once (Bio IV) two weeks ago on endor...... no way were you master 4 weeks ago
Please stop blowing your own trumpet, i don't like people who lie.
My trick for camping is to just run a macro at night. In a decent spot, I can harvest 10-12,000 units of stuff in 24 hours. During that time, I can do about 28 camps for about 33,000 camping xp depending on what camp I use.
