What's up? It says they are supposed to, but I constantly have aggressive things strolling into my camp and attacking me. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

Depends on what camp you can make, when I'm in my field base camp nothing aggros me in it but that's only for creatures not npc's.

I was in my field base this weekend on Corellia and was watching someone run by red cons to my north.

As he left my radar, the red con turned and ran in my direction. I thought, "hmmm, seems to be coming my way, but since I am in a field base I should be ok." hrmph. It Agro'd on me big time from 65m away and when I automatically fought back in self-defense, my camp abandoned on me saying I was in combat. Ended up killing me but I killed him too so some satisfaction was served.

As I cloned, I was pretty ticked off at my camp.

I don't trust the anti-agro "claim" anymore nor do I tell about it anymore.

It seems to depend on the creature. I was camping outside of Fort Tusken and it repelled Tuskens very well but the womp rats didn't care.

Im not really sure how the camps should repel creatures, how ever I did have an experience where I was fighting crazed robas which con yellow aggressive to me. I would place a improved camp up somewhat in the middle of where the robas spawned. As soon as a roba would spawn it would run away from my campsite, however, if it was already spawned and roaming around it didnt care about my spawn. I dont know if it is suppose to work in this manner or not but basically, agressive mob spawn and run away, already spawned they would roam as if my camp didnt exist. Good Luck.

these camps definitely dont repel creatures. they MAY (yet i doubt) lower the aggro on creatures. i had a picnic with friends in my Field Base and scyks were coming into the camp and attacking people. humanoid mobs also stroll into my camps and will attack me if i have bad faction with them.

Well, I don't remember exactly what my camp is called. It's the first ranger camp that you get at ranger survival I. I think it's called High Quality Camp or something. But it very distinctly says "This camp will repel aggressive creatures", and it absolutley does not. I constantly haveaggressive things just casually stroll into my camp and attack me. Not just powerful aggressives, but low level aggressives too. I'm almost certain that the repel feature either does not work or has not been implemented.

Oh well, add it to the list. But number 874,985,734. They'll get to it in September of 2007.
