I believe these were given an extreme boost in difficulty in the last patch. A few weeks ago Ikilled one withjust me and aGreater Sludge Panther. Yesterday I attacked one with a full grown Mountain Squill and the Sludge Panther and got my arse handed to me. I was like what the heck so upon examining it I noticed the CL had been raised to 145 and it has 2 special attacks can't remember what though. I was going to walk away and pull out my graul mauler and try again but as soon as I got up it DB'd me and eventually both my pets. I am sure I could take it even with the level increase just didn't go at itwith a strategy because I remembered them being an easy kill.

I haven't gone back again to try my luck but I usually see them North of Theed. Just wondering if maybe the increased difficulty means they may have been given crafting component loot like Krayts and Kimosas theyare more rare than either of those since they don't spawn with lairs.

They drop a component for the R.I.S. armorsmith quest -- I believe the feather. Make sure you loot next time you kill one
