Ranger Archive

Well, I can say that as a Master Ranger (hence being a master scout) and a Master Teras Kasi hopeful, you'll have 18 points left over exactly, as stated prior. It will cost you the following:

16 (Scout attain) + 57 (alltrees and master scout) = 73

6 (Ranger attain) + 57 (alltrees and master ranger) = 63

Added together = 136, subtracted from 250 = 114 left over to do whatever you want to do.

If I'm correct, this is the right number of points.

I think the smuggler is a good idea. I hunt with a smuggler friend and he never has to run back from the cloning center (becasue of his feign ability) and I do. I was considering becoming a smuggler myself (for feign and slicing and they do have some powerful dirty tricks for the pistol) but I can not bear to give up my LLC right now. So, I give you kudos for a potentially great combination of hunting-type skills.

I'm currently a Commando/Smuggler...

I'm thinking of dropping Commando and going Pistoleer/Smuggler/Ranger (I also have a little bit of Medic)

Pistoleer for the Combat, Smuggler for the extra stuff and Ranger just cause its cool...

-Think the combo would work?

It all depends on what you're planning on mastering, if any. I know that with the 250 SP limit, there's enough for master ranger, and master of one of the elite combat profession(such as pistoleer). It leaves you with like 18 SP left. So you may want to decide ahead of time how much of each profession you want and for which abilities.
