Ranger Archive

When I first got this game, I thought Master Ranger/Master Rifleman would be awesome. However, I've gotten into PvP and Rifle just doesn't suit my needs anymore. Anyways, here's my thoughts for a template plese give your opinions:

Master Ranger/Scout

Master Marksman

Bounty Hunter 0-2-2-2 or 0-0-3-4

or

Master Ranger Scout

Novice Entertainer

Medic 2-0-0-0

Marksman 0-4-0-0

Pistoleer 0-4-4-3

or

Anything else you think would be good. I still want to do well in PvE and I like being able to be solo, but I like killing faction people too thanks

Im shooting for Master Ranger and Bounty Hunter 0-0-3-4. I think the LLC will help me out with not only hunting, but in PvE as well. Plus, i wont mind being a bounty hunter, i can finally check out those bounty hunter mission terminals hehe.

I definatley think it will make for a well rounded character.Best way to describe mystyle of play is80% hunter, 20% PvP, andwhen i PvP, i get wasted rather quickly. As of now im a Pistoleer, but im dumping that as soon as i get the comabt xp for bounty hunter, then il work on that. I say go for whatever you want to be. All the combat classes have their Up-sides and Down-sides, but we all know Commando's and Bounty Hunter's as of now own the PvP world. That will, hopefully, change in the future, but it will definatley give you an edge as of now. Do whatever fits your style of gameplay and do what lets you enjoy the game. Have fun and good hunting

I am currently a 1-1-0-0 CH....Novice BH (soon to be 0-0-0-1).....Novice Pistoleer (dropping this).....and 2-2-4-4 Ranger

I have no problem holding my own in the field and although havent done very much PvP have no doubt that I wont be too bad off.....as long as there is a CM or Doctor around

I've got some medical skills, but I'mma need to drop them for master ranger and taming/training III.

This "template" works well for me. I can hunt with my cats and rats, and am pretty self-sufficent unless I get bad battle fatigue or mind wounds.

I am a Ranger/carbines that hunts and kills anything I want to without the help of other PC's.

Here is how:

Ranger 0,0,4,0 allows me to track anything

Creature Handler 2,2,1,1 alows me to have some nice strong pets, only drawback can only call one at a time

Carbineer 0,4,0,0 Carbiner -crippleshot and Carbine accuracy improvements

Bounty hunter 0,4,0,0 underhand shot, fire knockdown, and confusion shot - accuracy and speed improvements

and of course the required Master Scout and Master Marksman

I carried around most of the Ranger tree 4,3,4,2for a long time, but found the big camps, /conceal, and the advanced traps to be of no use to me or my way of making credits.. So I dropped all of those ranger lines. The tracking line is awsome for finding specific creatures, NPC's or PC's to kill. Though I may not winall of the timeat PVE I can hold my own.
