Like so many of you are, I'm currently maxed in skill points.

I'm at Ranger 2/2/3/0 right now and I need to surrender some skills for my combat profession. I plan on mastering Ranger after I've finished mastering my combat profession.

My question to this wonderful Ranger community is what are the scouting xp caps for the various lvls? If I get Tracking 4 and surrender Wayfaring 1 & 2 will that increase the cap?

In general, the cap is supposed to be "twice the amount required for your highest skill". There is a little trouble with the Ranger skills however as they used to require less experience to master, so the caps are slightly gacked.

Yes. The cap willbe setat twice the amount of experience required for Tracking 4. Both Tracking and Wayfaring use the same experience, so only the highest skill between them is used to determine the cap.

But the experience cap would still be double tracking 4 if he didn't surrender Wayfaring, right?
