Thread: Is Ranger right for me?
I'd say you're one already. Now it's time to get the training that will help you remain one.
I am gonna be frank, you can be earnest. (Ok, bad pun)
Right now we are semi broke. Some stuff works, some works sorta, some is just plain borked up. We got a lot of loving early, now we are waiting our turn. NRass our correspondent and Brisc, the Scout corresponent are bustin azz to try to get our stuff fixed. We sometimes get things we don't want and didn't ask for (milking comes to mind), while our cries go unheeded.
However, Ranger means never being without a home away from home, for 50 minutes anyhow. With the right combat professions, meaning most any, you can solo about any critter within reason, and some things totally out of reason. You can help artisans, docs, combat medics, bounty hunters (a pox upon those morons), BEs and creature handlers. You can make a lot of money, or be broke most of the time, your choice.
Ranger is what you make of it, Patience is a virtue and all the Rangers I know are waiting for the good stuff.
And when half our wishlist is granted, we are gonna kick some big time butt.
No, we ain't uber, and we don't want to be. We do harvest way more than our fair share of critters, and laff while we do it.
So you tell me... you got what it takes?
good luck

If you ever want to hunt on Flurry, look me up.

I play on flurry =)
Another reason I've been headed towards Ranger is that I don't want to be an elite fighting class. I find it unappealing and I don't want to restrict myself to only PvP or only PvE, I want a nice mix of both, which is why I took up Rifleman. I don't mind ifRanger is broken, I'd be more upset if it was already perfect and everyonehad already mastered it.
