Hi All,
I am going up 2 trees in the Ranger profession and wont be getting master ranger. Can a master ranger give me a schematic for the DAth Camo kit that I can use??
Was wondering how that works.
Thanks!

He can give you a schematic and materials for you to create crates of Dath Camo Kits in a factory, but you can't use the Camo Kits yourself.
He can also apply a Dath Camo Kit to you.
But unfortunately, that's it
You need to be able to craft the kit in order to use it yourself.

Are you sure, Darniaq? Not trying to start a row, but I could have sworn that as a 2-4-4-3 Ranger I purchased a Dathomir Camo Kit from the bazaar, and applied it myself. I'm Master now, so I can't confirm this any longer, but is my memory failing me? Or did they change this?

I've used them at non master. Had a BE bring me some so i could conceal him while he sampled. I kept the spares.

Hehe, no worries on row starting
I'd really very much rather be wrong in this because there's a wonderful potential market if I am.
Now I have something to test at lunch!
I've operated under this impression for months, back when I was told this was the case, went off to test it and found it to be true. But I readily admit I haven't tested this again since, so it's entirely possible that it's been changed.

"Now I have something to test at lunch!"
Hmmm... I guess I could test it on Test Center for the Dantooine camo kit, now that I have a good supply of material.
Bah, it costs me a bundle to travel back to Naboo to get retrained though.
My guess is that it is set up the same way as the Traps and Camps system. You can use the camo kits one level above your skill, but we will soon see.

Well, as a BE, I'm making tissues for clothing for myself so I can get +25 camo/+25 mask scent. And I dont have the skill points available to get Master Ranger.
So, if someone is on Chilastra and can test this theory, I would definitly buy some!

Actually. to test this theory further.. Is it possible for someone to just get Wayfaring I, and just have other rangers make all the camo kits for them? I get +5 Camo for Wayfaring I, however, with my +25 camo tissues, I will be at +30 which is equivalent to having at least Wayfaring 3. I dont care about Terrain Negotiation since we have Bikes now.
Can this work?? Im on Chilastra, if someone else is, we can test this theory out! Find me in game as Thorgg, Im just a novice ranger and we can really test this out!
Thanks!

Didn't get a chance to test this, but I will tonight
As to the Terrain Negotiation mod in Wayfaring, I thought that only affected crawl speed anyway.

For those of you interested:
With Wayfaring I, I was able to use a Dantooine camo kit.
Regardingthe Endor, Lok, Dathomir ones... I am unable to test them at this time. Maybe someone else can do so with a friend.

Hmm.. Bothans are supposed to have a +20 Camo mod.. would that mean that at Wayfaring I, with appropriately engineered duds, I could use a higher level camp kit than a non-bothan? Or would I just be more lucky when applying any camp kit?

But is the Planet Camo kits dependant on your Camo XP?? Or is it like Mask Scent where the higher it is, the more effective it is.
If he had Wayfaring I and was able to use a Dantooine Kit, thats higher than a NAboo or Tatooine one.
This would be so sweet if it were possible..
Any Rangers on CHilastra who can set me up?? lol
