I was on endortonight doing npc missions and was thinking of seeing if anyone was at DWB. For some reason i started thining about camo kits when i realized something. If camo kits work against npc's like it says they should in the game, thenwe (rangers) would probably be able to camo groups at the DW, therebyalowing them toget through undeteced. As i thought this i also realized that if this were true, rangers would server an actual perpous and have reasons to go to DWB.

*parinoid dilusions on

Is this just a Coincidence, or is it sinister plot to keep the ranger from haveing power......

Actualy i am wondering if the camo kits would have worked there had they not been changed.

Hehe, it is not the first time a guild mate has asked me to camo him for making what we could name " assassin NPC missions". Unfortunely, camo always break as you get near the main objective in a NPC mission. The same happens to me in any Dungeon (cave, corvete, geonosian). So, I have little hope it will be different in DW.

I have thought about that before, but if the NPCs are of high enough CL (or NPC level or whatever) and/or there are enough of them, they will break camo anyway. Ifyourthoughtis the case, I would have expected the devs to just say so, as they don't have anything to lose by telling us that. Who knows?

Yep. Actually previously you could not apply camo, mask or use traps in doors, even caves and such. Now that has been changed. I tried using camo for this purpose in the Warren. It worked for a while, and we are now able to reapply. But it got buggy, I would get agroed with it still not being broken, and would break constantly on ppl I applied it to.

I have had those same problems out in the wild.

hehe i actually tried sneaking into the DW bunker while using camo.

Results ? Well not to bad but not too good really...

I snuck passed the two battle droids near the first door, snuck passed the two blacksun and an SBD. Then when i tried to enter the second room the SBD in there went mad at me :/

However , someone mentioned that if you dont have a weapon equiped, they dont aggro you (as much). Havent had a chance to test this but im gonna try camo + no weapon and see if i can get any further

Try walking too, instead of running. It seems to lessen the aggro.
