I'm former Master Ranger, current Master Commando, with scouting IV, working his way back to Ranger....

Let me tell you. When I was Master Ranger and halfway through Carbineer....I was nowhere NEAR as effective harvesting as I am with Master Commando, Scouting IV....

I know, I know, it's been said 100 times....but I just wanted to make it 101...

Point me to some solution threads.

Do you think the combat revamp will help Rangers?

Whats up?

Honestly,
I really hope the combat balance will give something to rangers... if not, then we will do what we do best, come up with great ideas and wait.

Personally I am sick of being a slightly better harvester and a weak hunter... I would rather be an elite hunter and killer of animals, and an amazing harvester.

but thats just me.

I have recently become addicted to buffs. I found that as a Rifleman, all my "problems" went away and suddenly, I'm 4 times the Ranger I used to be. I can cut a swath through the wilderness in the 2 hours time and some foods can extend that out to 4 hours if I try hard (it does get "iffy" in the end though). I can compress 3 days of work into one hour.

Suddenly, I fear the combat revamp...

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.
