Thread: Stop whining about no money

I made 1.2 million credits in 4 hours this weekend.
No, this is not an info-mercial, no real estate involved, or vitamins, or some pony tailed hippie freak with a sweaty ball cap.
Lok avian on my server has 2 stats over 900, OQ and PE. Perleks and flits were in good supply. I was finding as many spawns as I was missions.
Food buffs, a power up for the pistol, and in 2 hours Saturday, I made 500k on a 4k stack. Took me 3 shouts to sell it. Altho the first clown offered all of 150k. So Sunday I go back to Lok, after getting over the rivers of pee, and got 6k more. Sold to the same guy, but I let him have it for 620k this time. The rest of the money was from the missions I ran. Yes, good avian has been in critically short supply, and there are no more scouts or Ranger who are harvesting, so I made out like a fat rat.
Then I went back with a friend, for a guild harvest, but we got sidetracked. How come no one told me enraged kimos are so much fun to annoy?? Only got a 1k stack before real life reared its ugly head. Did take us like a half hour to kill the kimo, 30k HAM is pretty high, but we did it, finally.
Anyhow, back to Lok tonite, and until the shift hits, that is where I will be. But that is one ugly planet, and on my server, it's more or less Impified. They can have it. I just hate having to sneak into cities to use the terms.
This was a free public service announcement. Find good avian, and hold out for your price. If buffs on your server are 10k or more per set, 100cpu for avian is the right price. You do realize I am gonna stockpile at least 10k of this stuff if I can? Wonder if I can call in sick today?

On my server Dath Avian was the best about a week ago. Itook an orderfor15k and am selling it@135cpu. That is a very cool 2 million credits.

With good contacts and a lot of word of mouth....
grind organics are also a great source of income.
The LRC started over 2 weeks ago (im now merchant 1444) when I had 15mil in the bank. The initial investment in stock took me down to around 8mil in the bank, however... now im up to 14.8 mil again and the LRC business is booming.
grind for 6cpu, elite organics sell for forum average -5cpu, its getting to the point where I can hardly keep up with the demand for high quality and grind stuff.
Dath carnivore meat was hot on lowca, as was dath avian.... so now my vendors are stocked with good meat, rancor bile, and armor segs... its a doctor/ CM/ AS's.
Money for ranger isnt fast and furious, its slow and steady... when you trade and barter for goods and services, you dont spend your money as quickly and most of it goes for stuff you actually want.

More fun comments about Lok...
It rains pee too. My pet mountBrackerset likes the stuff, tries to go simming in it all the time. Something about it kiling off the parsites I think.
Eclipse has it impified as well, except for one tiny corner they can't just never seem toconquer. You get lots of hate about it on the forums too. They recently spawned another outpost there to, I think, called themselfs "Team Weble". Forums got some funny stuff init.
Hunt at night. Sky is really purdy. Music kicks &$$.

Kettemoor has great avian on Yavin right now. I've already made alot off what I've gotten. Im almost tempted to stock up about 20k more and just save it for a dry spell when there hasn't been a good shift fora few weeks >

yeah there is plenty of cash to be made if you want to look for it.... I made 281k in about 3 hours the other night, and in the process also got quite a bit of weapon xp to boot! now that's a profit margin

made 2.4 mil the other night in about 6 hours. Since I made Master Ranger, I've never had more money.
Tip: Find an armorsmith. When he offers you a job, take it and do it fast.

Who was whining about money? I think we're all mostly having the other problem. We've got our money covered for the forseeable future and now what?
I have my comfort zone about 100-150k. If I make it up to 200k credits it starts burning a hole in my pocket and I go do something stupid like pay up my house or buy a new gun I don't need. Then I go make my money back and get bored until 5 months later my house needs to be paid up again.
Mind you, with a 5 or 6 month cycle time on my house and factory I've only had time to do this process twice since release, but all the same...
I don't need money. I need something to spend money on.
