Hmm seems to me that Rangers are the experienced outdoors men or men of the SWG world. Keen in understanding of the ways of nature on several planets and a natural member of their surroundings...Does that make scouts kinda like boyscouts or girlscouts? I think it would be pretty neat of we where grouped with a scout and could give them a Dathomirian Nighsister Knot Tie'ing Badge.

Or a Corellian Medicinal Plant Foraging Badge.

Hmm, maybe a Dantooine Survival Teamwork Badge.

We get to play troop leader and they get to have a nifty shirtsleeve full of achievements.

Sorry, was just trying to pass the time till the December 2005 Ranger Revamp.

I think you meant "December of the Year devs finish 'Jedi Revamp XXII: attack of the extra-smooth Jedi toilet paper rolls'"

I even love to "rock a noob" my way of taking a new character from Mos Eisley, giving them the 45 mintue game intro then take em hunting on Dathomir.

I would love to be able to give them the "I got help getting a clue" badge. Or how about the "I got incapped on Dathomir/Yavin4 on my first day" badge.

Happy 4th Everyone!

On my first day (first day I got the game, first day it came out), I ran from Moenia, to theed, to Kaadara, and back to Moenia...on foot.

Dang, that was fun, talk about the ultimate exploration. I was running from maulers, and everything else because all I had was a self made CDEF carbine. I didn't even know that autorun existed. First time i thought of using tape to tape down the forward arrow on my keyboard.

I miss those days It may have been buggy, with days where the server would be down most of the day...but it was still fun. I remember in Moenia, where rogue fambaas would come into town. 30 some odd people, all armed with CDEF weapons, trying to kill that fambaa. That was fun. The most fun I had in this game came from the beginnings.

Now...everyone is so dang strong that they can take out everything solo. *sigh*. I miss the old game
