For me the reason is an old one. When I was a bh back around aug-jan I loved walking out in the wilderness of endor and the desolate plains of lok( targets never went to the outposts) . So from walking around I got to see all kinds of cool sights. This was way before the poi system. I think I wanted to do ranger the moment I came to the edge of a cliff and looked down and saw the great maze of lok (In my eyes it is still Ufye's maze of contemplation). That's when I thought it would be cool just to wander the wilderness for a profession. So I created Gout as my secondary character and went ranger.

I've wanted to be a Ranger as long as I can remember.
Originally I mastered Marksman and Scout, with the thought of going straight to Ranger. But I was a bit fed up with camping after finishing Scout, soI was toying with various ideas for my next profession andI thought Bounty Hunter might be fun. But it became obvious to me that just about EVERYBODY in this game is either going for BH or Jedi, so I decided that I wanted to be different andI stuck with my original intention ofbecoming a Ranger.
Now I'm heading for another combat profession for support, tried Pistoleer but I'm going for Rifleman at the moment (because it seems the most logical weapon for a Ranger).
I'm aRanger for life ... in the game anyway ...

I started playing 4-5 months ago. I mastered Artisan first, because I was interested in the crafting system, and scout shortly after that (I had been using both equally). After mastering scout and starting on Ranger, I dumped Artisan because it was getting tedious to keep track of all the resources. I then spent my skill points in CH and finally mastered Ranger this morning
And that has been it. A total of 2 professions mastered and 1 lifestyle still in progress
