Hi all!
Just a simple hunting question.
What big mobs can a ranger/rifleman solo? Is it possible to solo a krayt dragon?
I'm saying this cos i'm grinding scout to go for Ranger to hunt all that moves. And i found a couple of days ago an ancient krayt dragon and i was able to conceal him for a good time. So i was thinking if a full camo/mask scent ranger/rifleman in prone and doing conceals can take down a beast like that.
Am i dreaming?

I have never tryed but I am guess that just using Conceal Shot on him will take you a very long time. And before you get any where with it that some other large Krayt hunt group will come along and join in. With or with/out your appoval.

It took 20 minutes for a couple of friends that were Master Rifle using only conceal... prepare your swoop to run away if you fail one conceal shoot

Doesnt the krayt get an auto bleed after 50% of its hitpoints are gone?
I know the Giant dune Kimogila are solable as i have done, just takes about 2 hours with conceal. Peko peko alabtross are soloable as well and they take about 30 mins with an DXR6-B acid rifle.

kimos are soloable got my first one solo last nite. took alooong time. Mask scent/cammo/ running for the hills. Kryat would be nice but Groups would muck it up. I only got the kimo as it was server start and noone was in the area.

Well, I will put in my 2 cents. Though I am a Master Ranger and TKM, not Mrifleman. With this template, I have managed to solo Giant Dune kimos, Adult Krayts, And even soloed the corvette (I kiss my armor all the time for that one). Other big game I can handle easily are Ancient bull rancors, nightsisters, and can get all the way to aklay in the geno caves (can't solo him though).
The one problem I had with rifleman soloing was the time consumption it took for me to actually solo all those critters. Taking 2 hrs to solo a kimo was too much for me. It takes me 10-20 minutes now as tkm (Tricks of the trade!). Anyhow, good luck with your hunts.

You know Ive seen guys Solo as TkM or something. Was Amazed at how quick it was done.

ya know this is just my personal opinion here, but I think the large aggresive mobs like the Kimos, Krayts, and Enraged Bull Rancors shouldn't just be able to kill ANYTHING in one shot, but if they are small enough. Like oh say about man size, should swallow them whole or bite them in half. NO MORE soloing anything that could or would squash you and me like a tiny annoying insect that we are.
Oh and to answer the question, yes we rifleman are capable of soloing a dragon. it just takes too long to kill for the measely amout of resorces at the end to justify the time spent on one.

Well if you are imp, you can always let your At-St tank the Krayt for you, while you kill it. Yes At-St's cant attack mobs anymore, but the krayt will sure attack it

Im with Venom it seems a little dumb that some people can solo the biggest nastiest creatures in game. These are supposed to be group only. But I'll use the standard all purpose SOE answer
