The devs have listened at the cries for the scout xp conversion rate changes and they have now been halved to 1fs for 8xp rather than 1 for 15.

Good...now I can do what I do normally (hunt) & eventually get the necessary xp:
Run around masked, get xp. Find lair, start killing, get xp. Harvest, get xp. Throw a few traps now and then, get xp.
There will be some changes in the way people play, I think:
1. More people will hunt creatures instead of humanoids, because you don't get xp for looting. Nightsisters, Jantas, Mokks will sleep a bit better.
2. Less use of harvest droids because you get less xp (right?).
3. More use of traps as a supplementary source of xp.
4. Larger supply of low quality organics on the market as a secondary result of 1. Possibly offset by damand from crafters doing their own fs grind.
5. A loss of diversity in templates as people concentrate on those that generate xp fastest. Preceded by a period where people switch from capped combat professions to fresh ones to hoard weapon xp. (I am guilty of this myself. I am switching from TKM/MRifle to TKM/MSwords via Fencer, because I have capped rifles at the moment.)

Yay.
Now all I've got to do is persuade some of those campers waiting on the next Sith attack to come kill rancor so I cna get some scout xp while they get weapons xp....

I tried getting the organic collect calc, i got an inorganic one instead. I either got unlucky or missed a phase reward. This reward was for unlocking the Luck tier in senses.

Excellant, Great work Owen.
Can anyone answer me this question though? I'm master ranger, are the bonuses given through the FS quests, like TN, going to do me any good? I get the feeling that at master ranger they are not going to do us any good. I think you get a harvesting bonus, and that would stack seeing as we can take food that does the same. But TN? I'm already maxed at master. And I don't know if there are any other bonuses to scout/ranger stuff you get, maybe a trapping one? Will that stack at master ranger?
I ask, because if they don't then it's obvious that no master ranger would or should bother with that line.

I dont know the mods given entirely because i havnt had the chance to review the tier, however i believe that the mods will most likely stack. i mean can a player go over 100 tn? i think they will be able to but the difference will not be very noticable.
Also i wonder what the reward for the survival tree is? I hope its something like 3000 buff to all stats and only master rangers can use em.
Lots of questions still need answering however we are not likely to see the ones regarding fs boxes answered until we actually get them on live.

Throghout the Survivalline of the Enhanced Reflexestree, the following skill mods are attained (followed by my critique of their usefulness to a Master Ranger.
- Camping +5 - We can already use the best camps. The healing modifier if a camp is based on the camp, and not the Ranger's mod.
- Foraging +5 - Bah.
- Maskscent +5 - Probably useful, but it might be nice if there were a +5 to Camo, as well
- Trapping +5 - Maybe we can hit the biggies more often (or at all, in some cases)?
- TN +5 - Crawl even faster!
- Creature Harvesting +5 - Probably the best mod in the line.
- Creature Knowledge +5 - Don't we know everything that we can?
These skill would have varying importance to non-Masters, but as you can see, there isn't a whole lot that a FS Master Ranger will gain.

Something's confusing me. When Survival Line used to be in Senses all was good because we could exchange scout xp for senses xp. However as they changed things around and suvival went into reflexes, can we use our scout xp to get suvival line?
As i understand it, only weapons xp, squad leader xp and combat xp can be exchanged for reflexes fs xp. Am i right in assuming that we wont be able to get our scout/ranger boxes by using scout ranger abilities?

i can see it now:
"But Master, spent hundreds of hours properly harvesting the bodies of the creatures i killedto ensure that i wasted nothing!"
"I'm sorry dear boy, the only way to get in tune with Nature through the Force is to murder millions of creatures and let their corpses rot."
