I love being a ranger, i'm making a ton of money by helping people find the quest guys ( pirates, boar, farmer). BUT 2 things bother me, and they have been discussed but i wanted to "refresh" the swg dev team.

1- camos - The camo should make you invisible to players too. I love wearing my camo and flying around the nightsisters BUT players can see me quite easily...CAMOS should make you invisible to everything, including bounty hunters and their scans. If ya did that we would have all the jedi seeking us out.

2- camps - The camp should heal your BF. i mean they look so cool but they are kinda worthless and a huge pain to master. I have mastered all other aspects of ranger but im still 50k away from mastering camp building. I think you guys need to boost the XP given for camps, for 2 days now i'm building nothing but camps, trying to lvl it out. It is a pain to do all this hunting and work to get the supplies to make a camp and then the camp drops little xp and does not even heal my BF.

A master rangers tracking should be doubled from that of a player who took ranger just to get area track, make ranger worthwhile!! Too many players take ranger just to get the tracking, and thats a shame.

Actually all the professions should give you a noticle boost when you master them vs a player who just takes drips and drabs from professions.

Just my humble opinion...

P.S if i did not post in the correct area pls feel free to move.

1. To see the Camo making you invisable idea to its extreme. Check out fred skinners "Stealth" post. I believe its a sticky and it should be what your looking for

2. A bone of contention for all rangers. The last answer we recieved was that if it could heal BF even at the small amount it heals wounds it would stop scout/rangers and anyone with scout/ranger camps from coming into town. We all yelled and screamed about this. But so far its been for nothing. So hope it gets changed. The best solution would be to make it part of the field base and HTFB kits since they are supposed to be a bit more special anyway. Oh btw jedis have the ability in their tree for "total heal" which heals all wounds and all BF. So the argument against us getting BF healing in camps has become less of a good reason

3. Tracking - we already have a 500m radius range. To go higher at master would be overkill really. Yes it would be nice. But most of us feel its unnecessary since we cant see what hasnt spawned yet. Really we need the 100m hole fixed as well the height elevation problem tracking has. We have also been asking for something that was promised to us a long time ago. Which is to be able to cause certain creatures to spawn with the track command. Basically creating our own lairs. Nothing on the high end scale like Krayts and such. But it would sure be nice on those darned little nunas on tat.

Ranger is an incomplete profession as our dev told us. And your correct on the tracking IV thing. Im looking at ranger tracking IV, been a master twice, and wondering why i would put myself through the ordeal of frontieering again to master. I have the benefit of needing the conceal kits to help the BE's in my guild sample. But mostly Master Ranger is like Master Commando its a pride title that really doesnt add much. But dont think thats not stopping me from collecting my materials for the third climb up frontieering. Because I will be a master ranger again. Its what my guild expects me to be as their leader. Go fiqure.

And as a new member of the ranger forum community humble opinions are more then allowed here. Sometimes, see the creature harvesting tool, it actually causes things to get done.

Welcome fellow Ranger

(edited to add the total heal thing)
