Just came across an auction on my galaxies trade forums: Gorax Bones
What are Gorax Bones usedfor? Iv never killed a gorax hmmm,lyth you up for a gorax hunt?

You can make weapons out of them I believe, nice ones. 
Like a krayt weapon, but more rare. I saw screenshots on imagedump a while ago when I did a seach on gorax.

Gorax bones are teh equivalent of Krayt Tissue for weapons that require a Feed Mechanism instead of a Power Handler. Most commonly these are used in Launcher Pistols and FWG5s.

Yep, they are for weapons. And I wouldn't mind a Gorax hunt. But they never seem to show up when I'm looking for them (I've only seen one spawn since they added them back in and that had no loot).

Wasted two days with my guild looking for them. The one as the weekend they released them to the different planets. And the second time searching it out on Endor.

Yep...FWG5, Launcher pistol and Tusken rifles use them...As far as I know, they have a base damage of 30 like krayt tissue. During the anniversary weekend, I went with a couple guildmates and we took one down that had 7 bones with 96 max damage. FWG5's were 271 max before slicing.

Well ill be on endor for a while i think, im having fun recreational hunting again so ill just keep searching whilst on my hunts
