Thread: I just have to say...

I used to be a BH. I thought I liked it but one day I saw the light and dumped it all to become a Ranger. Now I'm a 2/1/3/0 Ranger (looking for Tracking 4 training) and I couldn't be happier. The amount of interaction with the game is great. And everyone I hunt with asks how I know where the good creatures are. BH are a dime a dozen in this game, but Rangers are rare (too bad for training) and generally happier than everyone else.

This forum is also the best on the boards. It has the most constructive posts and the least greifing. Plus NRass is the best correspondent I've ever seen on the boards.

Okay, that's enough gushing. Just a general thank you to all the Rangers.

Welcome to the few, the proud, the ones who are Rangers!

It's a very good profession, I have found, as people ask me for baby locations, where creature X might be, etc...suddenly, I'm a needed element in the game and knowing that on Gorath, on Naboo, I'm one of a very select few of Rangers on the master level.

And for my rangers-in-training compatriots, all training is for free!

that out of all the prof boards that i've looked through and been on, i have been most impressed by the SL boards by a long shot. most people here are calm, intelligent, and mature. that says a whole lot about those who decide to play SLs. keep it up.

It kind of went through phases. It started off with half the people complaining and half the people like"this is a really cool profession!" Most of the first group left, and then it was calm. Then time started to drag on and the Devs did nothing, so half the people were like "**edit** devs?" and the other half was like "They'll help, don't worry." A little more time went on and the Devs did nothing, and everyone was all "**edit**, mate?" Then hologrinding came, and they "adjusted" our xp, and everyone was like, "Crap."

As time stretched out from there, all the people who didn't really love the profession got frustrated and left; all that's left are dedicated SLs working towards making our "eventual" revamp the best it can possably be.

It's ok, because pudding is good.
