Thread: Deja vu all over again!

My first character, Zingonia, on Tempest, is a Ranger and now I've reached Novice Ranger again here on Kettemoor. I couldn't be happier! The second time around was more difficult for me, too. No one groups anymore so I had to hunt, camp and trap solo.
Just to show that Ranger runs in my blood, I've been a Novice Rifleman for a week or so now but I never read that forum; I spend my time looking through the Scout and Ranger forums almost exclusively. This is home.

Its a drug you cant avoid isnt it? Once a ranger you keep returning. You keep saying "Its a waste of points" "It hasnt changed". And when do you say this? As your sitting in your camp working up to master scout. I keep coming back to it and i probaly will until the game closes. Its still my favorite profession in game

I'm Master Marksman/Master Rifleman/Tracking IV/FS Ranged Speed at the moment. I can drop a lair of Enraged Bull Rancors with StrafeShot 2 before they reach me and yet I've got that annoying itch to drop marksman (and thus a large part of my killing power until I get a rifle speed tape) to get the other ranger skilltrees again (although I hardly use themwhen I have them). It really is a nasty profession once it get holds of you

I want my title bad enough that im thinking of dropping CH again. Sure I hear "A droid will..." but not with what i fight. My pets have always taken care of me. For what!? A darned title that means i can make dathomir camo kits. But i want it back

Hehe, actually Zingonia, my first Ranger, is now my alt. When I took a break from the game Zingonia was sitting in his house in a player city that was not run by, but heavily populated by, his guild mates. When I came back, not only was the house gone (I knew it would be), but the whole city and my guild were gone! I was sitting in the middle of nowhere. Pretty spooky.
So I took the opportunity to start a new character since for me getting there is more than just half the fun.
Zingonia is pretty close to glowing so when I feel the itch to go force sensitive, I'll probably use him and keep Shugyosha as my perma-Ranger.
