Thread: You must wait 15 more seconds before you can mask your scent again.

Master Ranger here. Been using Mask Scent for a long time now. I know as a newbie Scout, I had a "waiting period" after it broke, but as a Ranger, if it broke, I used to be able to remask right away, unless I'd *just* masked.
Now, whenever it breaks or wears off, I have to wait 15 seconds before I can remask.
Please tell me I'm not insane and that this is new? And please tell me it's a bug?

Rangers get no Mask Scent Bonuses, only cammo bonuses(this was changed pretty much a year ago from today). As such, our mask is identical to a Master Scout's.
So, if you aren't using cammo on yourself, get yourself some BE clothing with some mask scent mods on it. Look for stuff with +15 or better. I wear a +16 shirt when armored and pants to go with it when unarmored. With just the shirt I can remask in about 6 seconds. With the shirt and pants, I can remask in about 3 to 4seconds.

I have always had to wait to mask after it broke (still do) and I don't have to wait if it wears off.

I don't *think* I made any changes to my clothing, but it's possible I did. The only thing I can remember changing out are some generic no-stat boots and ubese pants; the pants may have had an AA or something, but still. That's a big change just for losing an AA.
And I'm very surprised that we get no Mask Scent bonus over Novice Scout. Why was it changed?
