I should have done my homework on the trees before I unlocked them. I got to the village and did the quests for Whip. I spent points to get Novice Enhanced Reflexes and was shocked that I had just wasted all that xp on a completely worthless skill progression tree in relation to the costs for skill. Over 2 million Combat XP to get a whopping +20 Ranged Defense or +20 Melee Def? Are they joking. Those defenses do not even matterin High level content. Vehicle control? Please I run unless in a group. The survival bonuses a joke. I dropped it and cut my losses. I am sure for someone these skills will be nice but I just urge anyone to take the time to do what I did not. Research the trees before you possibly thorw away xp.

I'm just doing the quests for the rewards.
I MAY drop master ranger JUST long enough to unlock six branches and get an alt, but then go back to Master Ranger and then make the alt the Jedi.
Otherwise, I'm just in it for the loot.
ALL the skills are worthless, the entire procedure is to weed out those not willing/able to do the grind.
75% of the skills earned is worthless is to an actual jedi. Can you imagine a master jedi with the survival bonuses? WHY? By that time he won't have ANY other class skills and the measily +5 to the skills will not allow him to do squat.
WHAT does a Jedi need with ranged combat?
Vehicular control? Unless this is something for future JTL skills it is meaningless.
Only the melee skills are worth anything to someone going on to Jedi.
The rest is eye-candy.

hehe but with vehicle control you can pwn everyone on the swoop tracks and get hate tells for weeks from people who don't know better calling you an exploiter. Can't wait lol.
I don't know - maybe I'm just rationalizing, but for me the value of bonuses in the survival tree is more symbolic than actual. I've always claimed that I'm a better ranger than everyone else, but with these new bonuses, now I'll have tangible proof
(hehe joke)
