Well im finally able to get online from work. 5 days on duty 8 hours sleep. Went to my home to find no power no water. Frances did a number here in Fla. Im now on duty for another 16 hours. I have eaten Foraged sanwiches and chips. i have taken cold showers. I feel verry rangerish.
Hope to be in game soon. but seems that my power and inet wont be up for 2 weeks acording to FPL. Try to get in and say hi and give up dates as i have In game friends that look though. Hope all of you are well. and if yur in fla hope all was ok with your families. I was lucky and my wife and children are well.

Aye. I went through one when I was stationed in Norfolk, though not as bad a one, so I know what you're going through. Best of luck and take care.

Good to hear you're okay. Sorry to hear about the power and internet though. The storm made its way up here to Atlanta on Monday. No thunderstorms, but lots of heavy wind and rain, trees uprooted and power outages and street signals out everywhere. My digital cable is out but I still have the internet and power, so I can't complain.
I used to work in TV news as a photographer on the gulf coast, and I hated hurricane season. I still can't stand watching hurricane coverage with those idiot reporters chasing the storm and the damage, pretending like they're concerned and trying to inform you, when they really just want to be where the best damage and flooding is so they can get a great resume tape together.

In North Carolina, the hurricane brought tornados and floods.. far from the destruction that florida's seen, so hope you are taking care of yourself and staying safe...

Glad to hear that everything is ok! Stinks that you don't get internet access or more importantly SWG access for a while

Bah you dont need a show it will ruin your mask scent camoflauge hiding from those damned giant floridian mosquitos. Your hurricane is now the heavy rains here in PA. And i still blame you all in florida for the annoyance of having to drive through it. The next time you guys get a hurricane can you please send it west. Texas could use some water and color to.

Glad to hear that you and yours is ok.
We didn't get much of Frances over here on the Gulf Coast (Naples/ Fort Myers), but we really took it on the chin from Charley, so I can totally sympathize.
We were without power, water and phones for four days after Charley hit, and I got to "rough it" just as you're doing. Now I have a top of the line generator. I highly suggest you invest in one, if you can. No Floridian should be without one.
Heres a little hope; Two days after the Charley stormed through FPL and LCEC (Lee County Elec Company) estimated that we would be without power for about two weeks as well. Two days later, we had power.
Take care.

Texas will pass on the hurricanes. Allison did enough damage to Houston and it was only a tropical storm when it came through...three times. (39 inches in 12 hours!!!)

Agon - where in NC?
Over towards 95 it has been raining for the past 3 days. I am seriously thinking of constructing an ark or two.

As i left work the brass was going into a meeting about Iven. And i was informed to be ready to return at moments notice for that. If one of you Fine peeps could plse send us the Fat Lady to Sing i would much Apreciate it.
