I hear that the new AI is fashion sensitive, and only attacks camo-clad beings. Hawtpants, on the other hand, result in the creatures performing tricks.

I think you got that back words. Obviously NPC will now have a special seek and destroy code for Ha**pa*** clayed individuals, and ha**pa*** will also be considered contraband from there on.

Oh and does this mean non-Rangers will now have to learn to think? Good about time.

These changes seem to affect NPCs mainly. Will there be a coinciding change in the creature's AI as well?

I hope this means they'll be fixing the creature (scout) AI too. Mainly so I can watch Dantooine grinding groups get aggro from the entire lair and wondering what the heck happened

Actually, I believe that wearing THAT garment would result in immediately drawing aggro from everything within 50m (creatures and NPC's alike). They will, however, be hit with a Blind State once they get within 20m of you, which will cause them to go into Berserk mode causing untold harm to the wearer of said garment.
