Thread: krayts vs Gorax vs Kimo's
if someone could please direct me would be fantastic as evertime i use the darn area track on this webpage it says its unavailable at this time 
Gorax are easy. They heal slower and have less points then the rest.
Krayts are not too bad, if you can tag team them with another player. One shoots, one traps, they lose. Add a decent probot in to take care of the healing and you can easily drop even Ancient Krayts.
Kimos cheat.Aggro one and any nearby wander in unannounced just cause they can. Even krayts respect a one on one. And they heal somewhat faster I think. And they run faster.
I quit doing the big stuff, takes too long and the harvest is not worth it. Unless you are grouped with friends and will really no kidding share the loot. I hate ninja looters.

Personally, I've grown to scoff at anything other than an Ancient Krayt. Gorax is slow and ponderous and heals up about as fast as I can knit (i.e. very, very, very slowly.) Kimos can be faster, but remember that there is a major difference between kimos. GDKs for example, are by far easier than the Gorax for me. There have been times that with the right amount of hills and judicious use of my KD,I was able to solo a GDK and not get hit...with only using one trap. I've also managed to hold two GDKs snared at the same time and solo them both at the same time GDKs are pushovers, really.
Krayts can be tough if you go after anything above a level 84. Ancients are really tough to solo. When I go out to solo an Ancient, I'll go through around 50 P-Darts. I use a probot droid to increase the DPS done to the sucker, and I run around like a madman. I'll also use a few stinkbombs to try and get my state effects landed, but these guys' healing is phenominal, so missing a single shot can really hurt you. Most of the time, I'll attempt this only as something to do, because it's generally not worth my time to solo the ancients.
Hardest to kill must be Krayts as the Big G aint all that. However if we are talking about the 'whos your daddy' (see below) award then it goes to the Gorax.
Anyone remember the sandbox the devs made with all the premier league creatures/npcs in the game and waited for them to battle it out? The Gorax won i believe. Obviously pre-cu but if we are going on past event victories then Big G gets it hehe.

Doh! I need to quit skimming..heh. Need to remember to pick up that guide to speed reading. If I ever get the time to read it that is... heh
