I have seen a trend to start complaining about what other professions are and are not getting here in the RANGER forums. We rangers take the HIGH road. Lets keep our forum based on OUR profession and not others ok? I don't want us turning into the next BH boards...

, etc. Is it okay to post non-Ranger profession material when you like it or none in general. Or does every post from now on that is not Ranger related get the Rule #3 ( I think thats the number)complaint.
I felt I was pretty strait forward. I have to assume you are just teasing. I mean we should focus on the Ranger profession and not other professions (like rifleman, bh or jedi). I hope you have a rangertaffic labor day all!

You know darn well that he is talking about whining about other professions and not OT stuff.
ALL of you know that YOU can report any thread you feel is offensive or doesn't belong in the forum, right?
Sure do. Just pointing out that even OT stuff can get swatted with the forum rules. Just because people haven't done it doesn't mean they couldn't do it. My point was meant to just be careful when dewtermining what gets to stay and what doesn't because a lot of this forum remains OT most of the time.

I don't know what the BH boards look like, but my opinion on what you said is this:
I think it is legit that we talk about other professions on this forum. The purpose of most of such threads is tolook atthe developement of other professions in relation to ours. I don't like whining either, but I think it is hard to draw the line between constructive critizism (maybe with a bit of sarcasm) and "whining".
My definition of whining would be complaining about changes made to other professions that has the result of us not having an unfair advantage anymore, for example.
Most of what I have read on the Ranger forum was well founded critizismand comparing changes made to other professions with changes made (or not made)to ours.
So I think the focus still is on the Ranger profession (mostly). But I think you have to look at the whole picture to be able to talk about a small part of it.
By the way, I am mostly of your opinion. I don't want the Ranger Forum to turn into a "BH board". But I am trying to show you that we are still far away from only whining about other professions. We do take the high road ![]()
