I usually goafter war grondas. They're not particularly strong, they yield around 85 hides with a harvesting droid, and they're available on mission terminals if your weapons skills are high enough. As much as I love areatrack, it's usually far faster to get missions than it is tofly though an area and track your way back through it.

Incidentally, since I notice you're on Starsider, you might want to stock up on Talusian avian meat. That stuff is just as good as the Corellian leathery right now.

I go after HUMBAs.....QUICK KILL!! GRONDOs can become AGRO QUICK and you have to pound away at them. I figure for the time i can beat down HUMBAs I actually get more resource per hour!!

PERSONAL NOTE: Alot of RANGERs make the mistake of thinking bigger = more! When in fact its not!! Well I know it is...but figure it out per hour!! When out solo'ing!

Example: Hunting BANTHAS

You can go hunt the big boys MATRIARCHS<sp> or just plain BANTHAS HAM BEING around 2500!! Not to bad!

OR you can go hunt FERAL BANTHAS with a HAM of around 1000! I know your saying but when they aggro they all come!! Well let me say this as a RIFLEMAN i can use my T21 or LASER and "1" shot them all day long. Add to it the NON MISSION LAIR yeilds a bunch more BANTHAS and in one LAIR I can get 1 k of WOOLY!! IN a MATTER OF MINUTES!!!

This is just one EXAMPLE! I used it because I happened apon some today up north on TAT and BWAMMMOOO!
