The current shiftDathomir Herbivore meat on Eclipse is going for a pretty nice amount (75cpu).However, the amount of meat dropped from an average Malkloc is pathetic, to say the least. I decided to go kill some rancors by the Sarlaac and get enough resources for me to finish off my Frontiering and Trapping.
I got over there and I had killed a few mutant rancors when I ran into a small family of Malkloc Plainswalkers (Male, female, and young). I killed them off and each yielded between 350-450 meat per harvest. I thought, "Well now, this is MUCH better than an average Malkloc!" I sat around hoping it was like most random spawns and would spawn again in 3 minutes, but no. Waited for about 5-7 minutes and then went on my way killing rancors. Kept area tracking occasionally, but never saw another Plainswalker.
Is there a specific place I should look for these guys? Even better, is it possible to get missions for them while in a group?
Thanks, any help is appreciated!

The plainswalkers are quite rare in my experience. I have seen them in quite varied locations, though. If I were to seriously hunt them, I would probably start east of the outposts (as I seem to remember seeing more in that area before although it has been a while since I visited Dathomir [I can't kill much anymore]). Good luck with it.

I've been fairly succesful at finding them around the tarpits, lots of wild random spawns. Just take out any lairs there and eventually plainswalkers will spawn.
