Thread: Has examining a ereature changed not to show meat/hide type?

Maybe this happened a while ago and I just didn't notice since I go forextended periods without harvesting hide or meat.
I thought that I remembered being able to check the hide or meat type of a creature using examine on the radial dial either when they were alive or dead. Now I can do neither. Do I just have a terrible memory or has this changed? If it is a change was it intended or is is a bug?
Thanks for any insight or a link if this has been discussed previously. When I go out to sample critters it would be nice to know what I can harvest from them before I kill or skin them.

This was still working for me earlier today. I do know that lag sometimes makes it not show up properly for a while but the info still shows up. I just miss the bone type.

Ahh. Yes lag could be it. I was hunting on Dantooine yesterdayand the lag was pretty horrible. Will have to check on another planet..
