if getting the corsec badge from reyune doesn't help, i don't mind making a character on tempest... if you don't mind running the borvo missions with my novice marksman, we can get you the tusken king's rifle in a jiffy... then it's just a matter of visiting the darklighter estate...

Thanks guys, appreciate the offers. I did what Calc said and searched the Game Guide forums. They were a few people in the same boat as me. The CSR reset the part of the mission for the briefcase for Thale. Then the people finished it that way.

I am going to submit a ticket first and see what they say. If by chance it doesn't work I will work with my guildie Reyune. If that doesn't work then I will contact you Kago with a toon on your galaxy.

I am 6 hours ahead of EST (Sicily). I play from 0130 EST to 0430 EST and 0900 EST to 1130 EST thru the week. I have Saturday off this weekend.Just letting you know when to expect me if I need it at all.

Sorry for the subject line, but I am very tired of not having a Krayt Skull.

I was doing this quest last year right before I had to go on 3 deployments back to back to back. I heard while I was gone that they had a problem with Tempest. I think I might have lost something in my inventory. I asked the CSR's a few times and all I get is that it is fixed and there is no problem with the quest.

Now that I have had the time to play, I have been trying to finish this quest. I feel that evey Ranger especially a Master Ranger should have one in his house.I am stuck with Whatshisname in Coronet telling me that I am Niksel and should be doing something. Borvo's guards tell me I have to finish in Corellia first. So I am stuck.

I would ask the people in my own Galaxy, but most of the people that I would trust are gone now. I don't hang much with the "in" crowd.

I was wondering if anyone knows what I need to finish this, I don't have the badge or the ledger, or anything from this quest. I think the server bug took it a long time ago.

Or do any of you guys have a toon on Tempest that has not done it yet? I want to follow along and see where it is messed up for me, and see if I can finish it. Or at least give the CSR's a better idea of what is going on.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. I don't like not having one. I have done most of the other quests except for the imperial side. But this seems to bug me the most.

The last time I filled out a bug report on this, I was told the Devs were still working on getting the last few bugs out of it. The quest itself works if you start from the beginning. The problems come for people part of the way through. If you want to try filling out a CSR ticket explaining exactly where you are and asking either for a reset or a way to continue (if possible) they will probably tell you that the Devs still need to fix it. But, unless you explain the whole situation (like telling them you started the quest 6 months ago), then you will get the "that quest is working as it is meant to" response. At least that has been my experience with it so far.

I am sure you can search the Game Guide forum for this info. I did it a long time ago and can't remember anyhting.

thanks reyune, but i'm fairly sure i wasmerely the first to volunteer for that... one of the things that makes this forum so nice is how helpful everybody is - something i think that speaks for what the ranger profession should be...

besides, it was a lot of fun being new again... and tempest seems like a really nice server, i may have to visit it more in the future...

enoshima, i'll try to get on today at a time we can meet up... all i want in exchange is to know how you came up with "Hon Atsugi"...

Hon Atsugi is actually the name of the train station near where I lived in Japan. The city's name is actually Atsugi City, about 15 SW of Yokohama/Tokyo area. I thought it looked cool when I tried it.

Enoshima is the name of the beach where all the betty's were hangin' in Japan.
