Just curious what others are charging for their services. I consider us to be somewhat unique in our services much akin to Image Designers and other entertainers (time is our major investment) though given the time investment it takes to track and harvest I don't the "whatever you feel is comfortable" method works for payment.
Since wearings any of my Rangers tags I constantly get tells for tracking requests (mostly the albatross and graul mauler). I was considering an hourly fee of somewhere between 50-100k but not sure if I'm overpricing nor if I'd be better off basing it on a quarter hour rate, just to make sure I've covered bases with people who don't feel they should pay anything for under an hour.
As for harvesting I don't generally accept contracts under 50 cpu.
I'm not trying to be greedy as I'm pretty happy with much of what I have and most of the upgrades I want I either have the credits for already or are minor. I'm more concerned with being taken advantage of. Thoughts? How are you running your 'business'?

Depends on what you're tracking...
For me tracking contracts are a pain. For krayts or something that doesn't spawn normally (due to city placement etc.) minimum I charge is 200k an hour with a minimum of an hour paid. So if I find what they are looking for before that hour is up I still get 200k and they reserve the right to have me track another spawn until that hour is up. Then I give them the option of continuing after the hour is up.
I've seen some people on my server charge 500k/hr to a mil/hr Which i think is rediculous. If my personal hunting is disrupted by someone who wants me to track something for them... the price goes up to 400k/hr.
I'm very picky though, I try not to take more than one contract/order at a time to ensure that I finish it in a good amount of time.
To answer your question again though... it depends on what you are tracking and how long on average you think it'll take you. Your time is what's being bought here more so than your ability to track. Tracking takes time..charge what you think your time is worth. Another good thing to do is maybe compare it to how much money you could make in the same amount of time doing high price missions like enraged rancors or anything of that nature. Try to keep it comparable so you don't feel like you're losing money.
But most importantly it's up to you.

ive had offers for 2 mil for tracking a graul mauler. Turned them down cause I was grinding J3D1!!!1!!omg!!1. Well, that's how life goes. But I know of others who charge 400k/hr. It all depends on the economy of your server.
